A single combined power score is an easy, appealing way to compare accounts at a glance, but it obscures a lot of what actually determines whether a fight goes well — treating it as the whole picture leads to bad decisions.
Power doesn't account for composition fit
Two accounts with an identical power score can perform very differently in an actual fight depending on troop composition, hero pairing, and gear set completion — power is an aggregate, not a measure of how well your specific pieces work together.
Power doesn't account for actual player decisions
Skill selection, target choice, and timing all affect real outcomes independent of the underlying power number — a lower-power account making better decisions can outperform a higher-power account making worse ones, especially in PvP.
Don't chase power score for its own sake
Some players make decisions purely to inflate their visible power number rather than to genuinely improve their account's real capability — this is usually a mistake, since the number itself provides no benefit beyond how other players perceive it.
Use it as a rough filter, not a verdict
