With this many individual guides covering specific systems, it's easy to lose the forest for the trees. Here's a single, practical roadmap tying the fundamentals together into a realistic first 90 days.
Days 1-7: foundations
Focus purely on the tutorial chain, join an active alliance, and build the habit of keeping every queue occupied. See our Beginner's Guide for the detailed version of this stage โ the short version is: don't spread thin, and don't skip the alliance.
Days 8-30: steady systems
Establish your daily and weekly routine (tasks, mail, alliance help), start deliberate research prioritization, and begin developing a small, focused hero roster rather than a broad shallow one. This is also a reasonable window to start engaging with recurring events like bear hunts once your fundamentals are solid.
Days 31-60: specialization
By this point you should have a clearer sense of your account's direction โ offense-leaning, defense-leaning, or economy-focused. Start committing gear, pet skill trees, and hero talent points toward that direction deliberately, rather than keeping every option open indefinitely.
Days 61-90: engagement and identity
Start engaging more seriously with PvP, alliance-scale events, and your alliance's leadership structure if that interests you. This is also a reasonable point to evaluate bigger decisions โ whether your current alliance and server still fit, whether a spending budget makes sense for your situation โ with enough experience behind you to decide clearly rather than guessing.
Beyond 90 days
After this point, most of what determines further progress is consistency in the habits established during these first three months, layered with the more specific system guides throughout the rest of this library โ from gear and pets to events and alliance leadership. There's no finish line โ just steadily better decisions built on a solid foundation.
